Because today is the first day of May (05), and because I've been asked by more than one person, I've decided to indulge you Wufei fans and post this up. I won't promise I'm taking on a Wufei-month challenge like I did with Trowa and Quatre (my OTP) for two reasons:

1) I'm kind of apathetic toward Wufei
2) This month is going to be CRAZY and I doubt I'll have much time to be OL, let alone draw (or is that the other way around?)

In any case, I won't have much time and Wufei doesn't hold enough weight for me to strive to draw him every day. I'm sorry.

And without further ado, I give you Wufei's portrait!

I'm not too happy with any of these, but it's the last day of Quatre month, so I figured I'd post THREE ~~not so great~~ sketches.

Home made pizza!

So I made pizza today!

Ingredients for crust:
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup olive oil

Toppings:
Ragu
baby spinach
mushrooms (sliced)
colby jack cheese, shredded (not pictured)
feta cheese
sweet tomatoes

Directions
1 Heat oven to 425°F.
2 Measure ingredients into a bowl.
3 Stir vigorously until mixture leaves the side of the bowl.
4 Gather dough together and press into a ball.
5 Knead dough in bowl 10 times to make smooth. Here, if you have circular pizza pans divide dough in half.
6 On lightly floured surface roll the pizza dough out. If on circular pans, roll each half into a 13-inch circle.
7 Place on pizza pan.
8 Turn up edges 1/2 inch and pinch.
9 Brush circles with 2T of olive oil.

10 Add toppings and bake for 20-25 minutes or until it looks done.

GW Crafts and Angst

Last week, I got a call from some lawyer's office that I owed money for some ticket that I supposedly got in Bexar County but I've never had a ticket! So I go down (an hour and a half away) to straighten at out and they see my license and are all like "This is you. It has the same signature." So I start thinking, maybe this has something to do with when I lost my wallet last year and sure enough, this ticket happened a month after my wallet went missing. Thank goodness I canceled my CC's but they had all my info as listed on my emergency card. Anyway, to make a long story short, I have to come up with $500 for the fine. That's a MONTH and a HALF of rent!!!

So my only viable option is this: Sell. Sell! SELL!!

Item 1: Plushies

So far, I've raised $40 with my plushies that will look like this (I will only make 25 23) and these are priced at $22 each OR $40 a pair. (more pix of this to come)

Item 2: Sell Magnets

These will be at $7 each or $12 a pair

And finally,

Item 3: Speeding Dragon

The idea came from a lady I met that came up with the name after I told her about the situation while I was at a sewing meetup. I already had a Dragon I made for my sister and she thought it would be cute to name it 'speeding dragon' and make more to sell.

For the Dragon, I'm taking donations, but they do take me about four hours to make... so I'd like the minimum donation of $25 for time and supplies.

On a related note, the items might not look EXACTLY as pictured. Every item is hand made and the materials (like fabrics) may be different, subject to availability. Which means, every piece is one of a kind <3

I might end going on etsy.com for this, but I'm not sure.

Once upon a time, there was this evil overlord named Dekim who was very harsh with his people. One day, a traveling gypsy caravan stopped in his land and performed for the people. The gypsies took the money offered them for their services, including services of night time pleasures from peasants and guards and nobility alike.
Dekim heard about this and became outraged. He saw it as stealing and went to take back what was his, but the gypsies had already spent all their money on food, so there was nothing left. Then that night, Dekim stole one of the gypsies' most valued possessions; one of their children.

Some months passed and the boy that had been taken was often chained and beaten. He was made to do laborious or distasteful chores and was usually bound by leg irons to another servant. He'd tried to run away one too many times and was often put in the cellar to make him behave.

The guards and Dekim would torture him by setting the dogs on him since he was very obviously afraid of them or starving him.... until one day when his majesty, King Quatre visited the lands.

As it turned out, the lord owed the king a large sum of money which he had gambled away, and as payment, the king took the only slave in the household that wasn't rude or unpleasant. The boy entertained him by throwing little leather balls in the air, and did all sorts of acrobatics for the king. When the boy realized that the king was looking at him the way the night customers had looked at his people, he encouraged him and slept with the king.

The next day, the king took the boy away from that horrible place and brought him back home, where he discovered that the boy was not legally a slave or indentured servant... but Trowa refused to be released. He wanted to remain as his Master's pet for as long as he could. He begged and pleaded to stay until he tears poured from his eyes, breaking the young king's heart.

After seeing such emotion coming from the gypsy boy, King Quatre could do nothing other than oblige his pet and grant him his wish. And they lived happily ever after.
